Aptness of line, the Zen of seeing reduced to a few lines or in some cases one. An attempt to capture expressive form with uncompromising economy. These works for me are decompression and an exercise in focus and precision. Like the Samuri dance, the stroke must be prefect otherwise, not dishonor but failure.
